Have you watched the new movie Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs yet?

This fun twist on classic fairy tales has quite quickly become one to be watched time and again at my house. Just take a look:

About the Movie:

This outrageous fairy tale spoof starts as Snow White steals a pair of red shoes that transform her into a princess. Meanwhile, a witch’s curse turns seven brave princes into dwarfs, forcing them to seek out the princess, hoping for a kiss to break their spell. Together, they must face Snow White’s wicked stepmother – who will stop at nothing to get her precious shoes back – and, along the way, learn that true beauty lies within!

Go behind the scenes of this must-own animated adventure with enchanting Blu-ray and DVD bonus features, including two “making-of” featurettes and two music videos featuring the all-new original songs! The Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs Blu-ray and DVD will be available for the price of $21.99 and $19.98, respectively.

Looks great, doesn't it? My daughter and I absolutely loved this fun movie with it's even better message! As a matter of fact, she has asked to watch it just about every day since it came in. Truly, I cannot complain too much.

Recently, we were sent a super fun Red Shoes inspired gift package to bring the magic of the movie to real life. Here's what we found inside:

  • digital movie code
  • Red Shoes tote bag
  • apple apron
  • Mini apple pie mold (and recipe for apple pie!)
  • Apple slicer
  • Packet of carrot seeds and 8” plastic pot to plant our own carrots!
  • all packaged in a wooden apple crate w/ Red and light green tissue paper!

Now, if you follow me on social media, you know that I absolutely, positively love baking pies... it truly is one of my favorite things. My daughter loves to join me too. Needless to say we were thrilled to get some new supplies to make mini version of our favorites! My son- who doesn't like baking as much as us girls do- even decided to join in the fun! Take a look at some of our baking fun:

And the finished project? Absolutely delicious, we loved that these were perfectly portioned for each one of us to enjoy. Not only was it a super fun way to celebrate the movie (and the perfect treat to enjoy while watching), but we know that this tools will be used time and time again for everything from sweet apple pie to savory pot pies (for which our homegrown carrots would be a GREAT addition!).
