When you put on a children's show, you know right away that that it is going to be safe for kids to watch-- no controversial issues or themes that you might not want them to see... right?
As much as I would love to believe that this is the case, at this point in time, that is not always so. Themes that might not match up with our personal beliefs seem to be subtly making their way into children's entertainment more and more. We can not easily accept that if it is on a kids network or in the kids section of the streaming services that it is something that we want our children to watch.
But that doesn't mean we have to ban the kids from TV... just that we need to be more mindful. Today, I am excited to share a new streaming services that kids are sure to love...and that parents can feel good about: Yippee!!
Talk about an appropriate name, because that was just my kids' reaction as they took a look through some of the offerings available . But what exactly is it? Yippee is a new steaming service for families and the only place to stream the brand new VeggieTales episodes, including The Best Christmas Gift and all 45 of the original classic VeggieTales. My kids LOVE Veggie Tales, so needless to say they were thrilled to see such a great selection of this household favorite. Not only can they enjoy the classics we all know and love, but the new ones too. And while this may be our personal favorite, it's just one of the offerings! There are so many amazing shows on Yippee, like:

There are no laggy streams and you can get apps for all your devices, allowing you to watch wherever and whenever you choose. You can also download content to watch offline. This is a HUGE benefit for my family--- especially this time of year. We travel for the holidays...and traveling with kids can be tough! While we have tablets they can enjoy along the way, they don't have mobile internet access. With this option, they can have shows to watch along the way, regardless!
