I don't know about your kids, but mine absolutely, positively LOVED The Secret Life of Pets. I mean, what's not to love about talking animals, right!? When they first heard that there was to be a sequel, they were beyond excited and couldn't wait to check it out for themselves. Unfortunately, we weren't able to catch it in theaters, so they had to wait a little longer but now that they've had the chance to experience it for themselves, it was well worth the wait.
When I asked my kids how they would describe the movie and my son put it quite simply, "It's funny! Just watch it!" My daughter agreed with this sentiment though she elaborated on some of her favorite scenes. I won't give anything away, but let's just say that babies + pets lead to a load of laughs for her. Personally, I prefer the first one best, but this one was certainly fantastic too. Kids will love getting to catch up with some of their favorite pets from the previous movie, while also being introduced to some fun new characters as well.
And for the kids who like to look behind the scenes, the bonus features are sure to entertain even further. My son loves those!
If you're looking for the next movie to watch with the family, I believe again my son said it best, "It's funny! Just watch it!"
