**I received a complimentary copy of this devotional courtesy of Frontgate Media for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.

BibleForce Devotional includes 100 devotions based on the heroes of the Bible with the popular comic-style action art, facts about each hero, Scriptures, and action items that help kids connect God's Word to their lives today. As kids read about the heroes of the Bible, they'll see ways they can be heroes for God as well.

BibleForce Devotional offers a fresh, bright graphic-novel style that will interest boys and girls alike and will be the perfect way to engage young readers who want an active, exciting devotional. It's a great book to read together and is simple enough for young readers to read on their own. Kids won't be able to put down this book! Jump into the story of God’s Word, and become an amazing hero for God today with BibleForce Devotional!

Tama Fortner is a freelance writer whose credits include God Is Always Good and 100 Things God Loves About You. She has collaborated on such bestselling titles as IndescribableJesus Calling for Kids, and Grace for the Moment for Kids. She lives just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, two kids, and an incredibly lazy dog who doubles as a footwarmer.

My kids--- like so many others--- love comics. They love stories of the heroes overcoming the bad guys and all of the action and adventure that goes into that. And what story is more heroic than those told in the Bible. Just like our favorite superhero stories, they are filled with good over evil and epic adventures. This is why when we first heard of BibleForce, we were immediately drawn in. Our favorite Bible stories drawn in the style of comics? What's not to love about that?

And now, they've introduced a new devotional in that same style, and I have to say I LOVE it. BibleForce Devotional features 100 devotions perfect for kids. In addition to the devotions, they include comic style art to bring the story to life in a fun way. They also have 3 great additional features:

  • Hero Training. This challenges kids to learn more about God, with Bible verses to look up and dig into and questions to consider as you read.
  • Be a Hero! This is an activity that brings what they've learned to life with simple actions they can do in their everyday life.
  • Fun Facts. My kids always love little facts, and so this is a great way to give a deeper understanding on the story too.
I would say that this is a devotional that is most appropriate for independent readers... I would say maybe 8-12 year olds would get the most enjoyment out of it (just based upon the content and my own interactions with kids at that stage), but I could certainly see kids both younger and older being able to enjoy it too.

Overall, this is a GREAT devotional that will truly have your kids excited to learn more about the Bible. Is there anything better we can give them than a love of the Lord?
