Every day that we interact with the world, we are in a battle. At stake is the eternal destiny of the souls of our friends, family members, and coworkers. It is a battle we wage not only in prayer but also in words. When we are faced with objections to the faith we profess, are we ready to respond?

Apologist and evangelist Ray Comfort has spent his entire career answering objections to the faith, and he wants you to be equipped to do the same. In this practical book, he shows you how to answer 20 objections to Christianity, including questions such as

- What physical proof is there that God even exists?
- Why does a "loving" God threaten eternal torture for not believing in him?
- If there's an all-powerful God, why is the world so out of control?

Don't go into battle unarmed. Let Ray Comfort train you to be ready with an answer, not so you can be right, but so you can help bring people from darkness into light.

Ray Comfort is an experienced apologist and popular speaker who has written more than 90 books. Cohost with Kirk Cameron of the award-winning TV program The Way of the Master, which airs across the globe, Comfort is the executive producer of several award-winning movies that have been seen by millions (www.fullyfreefilms.com). He and his wife, Sue, live in Southern California.

Answering the tough questions about faith and Christianity is... well, TOUGH! Sometimes, though we are strong in our faith it is hard to explain that to others--- especially non believers. As believers, we don't always feel that we NEED to have all the answers. Where our understanding of the hows and the whys ends, our faith picks up. But for non-believers, they don't have that faith. They need the answers. This book can be a great resource to help us give them just that.

This book covers a wide variety of questions that are commonly asked not just by non-believers but sometimes even by those believers too. Why is there so much suffering? Would you sacrifice your child if God asked you to? Why are there so many hypocrites in the church? Why does God allow evil? Why do I need faith? Oh yes, the tough questions. Ray Comfort offers practical insight based on biblical truth and real life scenarios in which these questions were asked. It is written with a lot of biblical references, but also in a way that is really understandable for even those of us who are not as confident speaking on theology topics. By giving us a better understanding that truly makes sense to us, we can be better prepared to answer those questions should they arise...and let's be honest, at some point in our life, they probably will.

Though this book answers a ton of questions and does so well, it actually reads through very quickly. It's got a great flow to it that makes it easy to understand and read through, honestly probably within a day or so. And because each chapter is in response to one question each, it's one that will be very easy to turn to when we need a little refresher ourselves.

Overall, this is a great book and a great resource. I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking a way to better explain their own faith to non-believers in a way that makes sense, but also for anyone who has doubts and questions about these big questions of faith. It is a very insightful read and one that I am happy to have in my personal collection.
