100 Favorite Bible Verses: A Book Review

**Book received for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.

What's your favorite Bible verse?

We all have those verses that we go to time and time again. Maybe it's a verse that brings us comfort, or joy. Maybe it's a verse that we can relate to on a deeper level. I always love hearing what Bible verse everyone loves the most, as I think it can truly help us get to know people on a deeper level.

For me, there are several that I go to and would consider favorites, but if I had to choose just ONE I would go with Esther 4:14-

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

What is yours?

Today, I'm excited to share with you a new devotional that celebrates some of those classic favorites throughout the Bible. With 31,102 verses throughout the entire Bible, there are certainly a lot to choose from, but this book narrows it down to 100 popular Bible verses:

Often readers don’t know which Bible verses to start with, and this book curates 100 best loved verses, each with a short application. It is also a great tool for Bible memorization. With content that is both timeless and encouraging, readers will love to read 100 Favorite Bible Verses and take to heart some of the most compelling messages in the Bible.

To be entirely honest, I expected this book to be more of an art book... I thought each page would simple have the verse written out with pretty illustrations around it... something to pick up when you needed a little inspiration. In fact, that was my plan...to use it as inspiration for Bible journaling- giving me specific verses to start with. While it was in part that, it DOES also feature short readings to go along with each verse as well, which is a great way to truly get us thinking even deeper about these verses. The illustrations are simple, but beautifully done so if you're a visual person like myself, it will be a huge plus. The readings are short so perfect to pick and up and read here and there as you are able throughout the day! For me, it really has been a great resource for journaling as well. It gives me a verse to go to, and some thoughts that can help inspire me as well.
