The Perfect Game for Cold Winter Days: 3 Little Pigs Board Game Review

**Product received for review. All thoughts are 100% my own.

Do you enjoy board games!?

As a child, I remember loving them. Of course, that was back in the days before we had excessive electronics and wireless Internet, but even still I enjoy even now. More importantly, I want to give my children those same fond memories of sitting around playing board games on cold snowy days that I look back on with joy. So, I am always on the search for fun new games to play with them. Games that both of my children- at ages 3 and 9 can enjoy equally. I must admit, that's not always easy.

Today, I'm sharing one such game I recently discovered- the 3 Little Pigs game!

Follow the three little pigs on their adventures as they build their houses and hope to avoid the huffing and puffing, big bad Wolf, just like in the well-known Fairytale. The 3 little pigs game combines skill and a Dash of luck. Kids will love the soft and squeEZable big, bad Wolf that actually huffs and Puffs the pig's houses down! for 2-3 players. Ages 4 and up. Game Duration: 15+ minutes.

How to Play:
1. Each player chooses one of the pigs to play and gets a house plastic stand of that pig’s color.

2. Players take turns rolling the die. To get started building your house, a player must rest roll a 'pig' on the game die. After a player has successfully collected their pig, they try to build their houses in order of the well-known fairytale.

3. When a player rolls a wolf on the die, he takes the soft and squeezable Big, Bad Wolf, and tries to blow down one of the other players' houses, causing that player to have to start all over again.

End of the Game:
The game ends when one player successfully builds their house of brick.

Seriously, how fun is this? Now, as much as *I* love board games, with so much competition with video games and computer games/apps, it's hard to find a game that can capture their attention the same. Many classic, roll the dice go around the board games just don't cut it! They need some interaction. They need fun characters. They need something exciting! They need something unique. That is just what this game provides. They aren't just going around the board... they are making the wolf actually blow down the houses. They are taking this story that every child knows and loves and bringing it to life in a fun new way! It is a game that with a little help, my 3 year old can enjoy, but also one that my 9 year old finds silly and fun as well. What a feat!

This is one game that is going to provide hours of entertainment and great memories to look back upon of these cold winter days! It's also a great choice for the little ones on your holiday shopping list.
