Did you know that tomorrow, January 5th, is National Bird Day?

Well, it IS!

And if you ever took a quick look around my home, you would probably realize pretty quickly that I absolutely love birds. I have several cute decor items throughout nearly every room in my home. Yes, I love birds...and I've passed this onto my kids too. My son of course is a huge fan of Angry Birds, while my daughter prefer cute owls and little lovebirds just like mama. I don't know what it is, but there is just something so cute and fun about birds!!

And nothing shows that fun more than the all new children's book by Bethanie Deeney Murguia- Cockatoo, Too:

Who can can-can? Find out in this hilarious book that features cockatoos, two more cockatoos, and tutued toucans too!

Cockatoo.

Cockatoo two?

Cockatoo, too?

Two cockatoos!

Two cockatoos, too?

Cockatoo tutus!

Two cockatoos meet two more cockatoos in tutus and two tutued toucans. And then two more! Can they all can-can? They can! The cockatoos and toucans join together for a dance and ask the reader: "Can you can-can too?"

Bethanie Deeney Murguia's fabulous book combines fantastically funny wordplay with lush, vibrant illustrations that will make readers want to can-can along!

This book truly is everything a children's book should be! It's fun! The wordplay is not only absolutely adorable, but it's also very easy for kids to read themselves, and ideal to read with a grown up too. Kids will easily pick up on the words on the page and repeat it right along with you. It's fun, it's rhythmic, it's just a blast to read! And it's not just the words themselves but the illustrations too! They too are fun and vibrant and the perfect compliment to the story!

Don't just take my word for it! Watch this video to see some of the fun you'll find in Cockatoo, Too:

Looks pretty fantastic, doesn't it? This truly is such a fun book and has quickly become a favorite in my bird loving home... it's one that all kids are sure to fall in love with too! Want to pick up a copy for yourself? It will be available tomorrow, January 5th- just in time for National Bird Day!
