Summer Fun with DIY Bubble Painting

"I'm bored..."

Ah, the words every mom dreads during summer vacation. This summer I am hoping to keep my kids occupied with lots of fun activities for indoors and out. Today, I'm sharing one of our fun outdoor projects that is certain to keep kids entertained- Bubble Painting!

What kid doesn't love bubbles? This mixes that love of bubbles with the love of crafts for the perfect summer craft! And most importantly, it's super easy and super inexpensive too! Let's get started:

Supplies:

  • Bubble Solution
  • Bubbles Wand
  • Food Coloring
  • Paper
  • Small Containers

  1. First up, mix up your 'paint'. Pour some bubble solution into each container and add a few drops of food coloring. Mix well.

  2. Now you are ready to paint! Find a good spot outside where mess won't matter! Sit out your paper and give your child a wand. Dip and blow bubbles as normal onto the paper. Watch as the bubbles pop and leave subtle designs!

  3. Allow to dry!

This craft is super easy, but a ton of fun! My kids loved blowing bubbles to create fun pieces of artwork!!

How are you keeping your little ones from being bored this summer? Stay tuned to see more fun ideas!!
