#RecycleYourPeriodPad with Free Samples from Poise! #sp

Thank you to Poise for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to use my imagination recycling my unused period pads!

Don't you just love this warm spring weather? There is something so wonderful about putting on a pretty spring dress and feeling FREE! But there is one thing that for many women can weigh down that freedom... LBL!!

WHAT IS LBL?
-One in three women experience Light Bladder Leakage (LBL) – little leaks that can be triggered by everyday occurrences like coughing, sneezing, laughing and exercise.
-Weak pelvic floor muscles, pregnancy, childbirth and weight gain are just a few LBL contributors.

WHAT CAUSES LBL?
Just as no two women are alike, there's no single reason that LBL happens. Some of the most common things that lead to uninvited leaks include:
•Physical changes from childbirth, pregnancy, hysterectomy or menopause
•Being overweight
•Complications from surgery, stroke, or chronic diseases like diabetes, multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson's disease
•Bladder or urinary tract infections
•Bladder irritants (certain foods and beverages)

HOW CAN I BEST MANAGE MY LBL?
Women deserve the best options for managing LBL. Whether you leak a little when you laugh, or sometimes have a sudden urge to go, Poise gives you one less thing to worry about any time of day or night. Our pads and liners are specifically designed for LBL, which makes them an easy choice for the 1 in 3 women with light bladder leaks.

FIND YOUR PERFECT PRODUCT
Stay fresh and confident with Poise® pads and liners. They're designed specifically for Light Bladder Leakage (LBL), which make them an easy choice for the 1 in 3 women who experiences LBL.

Designed to move with your body, new Poise Thin-Shape pads feature Super Absorbent Material (SAM) and a Thin-Flex design for extraordinary protection that’s still 3x drier than period pads† to help you take care of leaks with confidence.
If you experience LBL and have been using period pads to keep you dry, you know that they inhibit that free feeling just as much as fear of leaking! Not a fun way to spend the summer! So Poise wants you to try out their new Poise Thin-Shape pads for yourself and feel the freedom! Visit their website to request your FREE SAMPLES!!

But, what do you do with those unused period pads? Poise is encouraging users to get creative and recycle them. Find a new use or create a fun craft! Need a little inspiration? Here are a few quick ideas to get you started:

  • Emergency Nursing Pads. LBL isn't the only leakage nursing moms have to deal with... so if you're in a pinch and without nursing pads, cut your unused period pad in half and soak up those leaks until you can get to the store!
  • Postpartum Ice Packs. Expecting a baby? Toss a few into the freezer for some cooling relief after delivery!
  • Spill Clean Up. Need a quick spill cleanup and paper towels just not cutting it? Break out your period pad to soak up the mess!
  • Change Your Waxes. Have you ever used the cotton ball method for changing waxes from your favorite scented wax warmer? This works just the same... with your warmer still on, set the pad in the melted oil and watch as it soaks it all up. Add a new scent and enjoy!
  • Donate Them. Okay, so some of these ideas are 100% silly, and perhaps some just aren't relevant to you... but perhaps one of the greatest things to do with those unused period pads that you cannot use, is to donate them to someone who can. Your local homeless or woman's shelter will be greatly appreciative!
Now it's your turn! Make the switch and tell me how YOU plan to recycle your period pads? (Silly, serious... it's up to you!). Then be sure to head straight to this website to receive your free samples and coupon!!

Happy Recycling!
