Scripture and A Snapshot: 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

I am so happy to be able to join in for Scripture and a Snapshot once again this week! This is one of my absolute favorite link ups and I've missed being able to participate! And so this week I share with you one of my (and so many other's) favorite verses:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.- 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

This is perhaps one of the most popular verses there is (right up there with John 3:16) but I cannot hear it enough. 1 Corinthians is one of my favorite books in the bible, and this entire chapter is the reason why!! Love, be it love of a spouse, a child, family member, friend or God is the most important thing in this world. As the verses before this one states, without love, there is nothing and what a great example of the kind of love we should strive for in all our relationships.
