Verse of the Week- Jeremiah 1:5

As I was reading through some blogs this morning, I stumbled across this link up, and had to join in.

This week's verse (in case you can't see it in the picture) is:

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."- Jeremiah 1:5

What a great verse, and a reminder that none of us is here by accident. We were all created with a purpose and the things that we go through in this life are all part of God's plan for us. I truly believe that I was not made Shaun's mother by accident. Events in my life, though small, helped to shape me and prepare me for this life of being a mother to a special needs child. And I have no doubts that God has great plans for Shaun and will use him to touch people's lives, as he has already touched mine.
