Apples, apples...everywhere! Fall has arrived, and with it comes the apples!
There are so many fun ways to enjoy apples this fall- from trips to the orchard to pick them, eating them straight off the trees, apple pies, apple muffins, apple cider... yes, there are certainly endless ways to enjoy these tasty treats! But today, we're thinking outside the box a bit! We're not going to EAT our apples, we're going to PAINT with them!
Want to join the fun with your little ones? Here's what you do:
Painting With Apples
You Will Need:
- First up, cut your apple in half. I prefer the top being one half and the bottom being the other for the best design, but you can try both!! (Note: This is a great way to use those apples that have gotten bruised or a little soft that some kids won't touch!!)
- Time for the fun part! Get your apple ready by applying paint. For a more 'clean' look, paint it on using a paint brush... or just let your little ones dip and go!
- Now, start painting! Create a fun picture, or just go crazy... the most important part is just having FUN!
- Allow to dry!!
