Put On a Happy Face!

*I do apologize if that title has you singing show tunes the rest of the day...I just couldn't resist.*

Anyway, for those who don't know a lot about autism, something important to know is that a lot of people on the spectrum have trouble reading emotions. Shaun doesn't always know when I'm upset or mad...he's really bad about laughing when other people cry too. This is something they have been working on in school recently, and I think he's starting to get it...

"Show me your happy face!"

"Show me your sad face!"

He also does a great mad face (teeth clenched, hands in fist...grunts and all!) and a surprise face. It cracks me up everytime. And it also makes me very proud. What a long way he has come!

(And seriously, how can I not share THAT face? My handsome fella!)

  1. Interesting subject. I'd condition for pixel mah tor. At the office, I'd a family member issue. We would have liked to apply the brand new approach to setting cut scores suggested by Scientologist Beuk. As well as the country of my residence, nobody could learn how to spell his surname. So I have requested my friend to record how he spells it to help make the correct translation, yet it had been a complete disaster. Our alphabet doesn't have letters that may recreate this seem! I did not know the way you should twist your tongue to copy this pronunciation! Thankfully I discovered the answer on custom research paper services. Thanks they exist!)
