An Autism Awareness Review w/ Stella & Dot!

When it comes to cute jewelry and accessories, Stella & Dot is by far my absolute favorite! From their stunning statement necklaces to their gorgeous earrings and super soft scarves...there is nothing I don't love! (You can read the review I wrote a few months ago here!) So, I was beyond thrilled when I found out that for the month of April, they were coming out with a special collection in honor of Autism Awareness Month! As an Autism mom, I love seeing any company that does their part in raising awareness and money for this very important cause! As a Stella & Dot fan, I love seeing this already wonderful company doing the same! And the pieces are absolutely gorgeous!!

This collection features 5 gorgeous pieces: Spirit Bracelet, Bring It Jewelry Roll-Multistripe, La Folie Necklace, Pippa Necklace and Tree of Life Necklace. For each of these items purchased during the month of April, Stella & Dot will donate 20% of the proceeds  to the HollyRod Foundation...with a guaranteed minimum donation of $10,000!!!

The HollyRod Foundation is perhaps not as well known as some other Autism organizations (unless you're a celebrity apprentice or Holly Robinson Peete fan anyway), but this is a wonderful organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to those living with Autism. They also have a great program called 'Give the Gift of Voice', which provides tablets and apps designed for those on the spectrum. This program allows those nonverbal individuals on the spectrum to have a voice through communication apps (which also happen to much more user friendly and versatile than communication devices used in the past!). We personally have friends who received an iPad for their son through this program, so it's one we stand very proudly behind!!
