Dear Santa {Shaun's Christmas List}

A week or so ago, I shared MY personal wishlist, so I thought it was only fitting to share Shaun's as well...

The translation for those who can't read 5 year old-

Dear Santa,
I want:

That was the part he wrote himself, but asked me to add the following:

Westinghouse Searchlight

All of the Mario Bros Toys

And more recently made the requests for a piano, flute and guitar.

Long list, right? Mostly his list this year is all about Star Wars and Angry Birds Star Wars...his most recent obsession. Of course, I had already finished most of my shopping for him before he decided that's what he wanted...but I know he'll be getting a few Star Wars goodies from the family anyway! We did get him a few things from his list- the Angry Birds Trilogy game, a Trash Pack 3DS game and toy set, and legos...He'll actually be getting a ton of legos this year which he'll be super excited about...of course, Mommy isn't so sure how she feels about cleaning them all up!!

Most of the list is probably pretty self explanatory, but you may have gotten to the end of his list and wondered about the Westinghouse Searchlight. I've mentioned before that Shaun has an obsession with production companies. 20th Century Fox, Universal, Pixar, Paramount...he loves them all, and loves having 'toys' for them. For Universal, he begged for a globe. For Pixar, we bought him a Pixar light. He has a few mountains from his train sets for Paramount. Well, you get the idea! (He also draws them or creates them from Playdoh or Legos, but that's another topic altogether.) At Wal-Mart a few weeks ago, he spotted this little outdoor LED pathway lights that he thought looked like the searchlights from 20th Century Fox. Naturally, he decided he needed them. Life with Autism- never a dull moment!!
