**I was provided the product from Vtech in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Last week, I shared a fun photo of myself as a little one enjoying playing with my doll. Like many little girls, I remember loving to play with my baby dolls! I loved rocking them, I loved feeding them and I loved dressing them. There was nothing I loved more as a child.

But as a mother, there is nothing I love more than watching my own daughter play with her baby dolls. And let me tell you, she is baby doll obsessed. She can often be found carrying around one doll or another and taking care of them just as I take care of her. She brushes their hair, changes their diapers, talks to them and teaches them. It is fascinating for me to watch her imagination soar as she plays pretend. Is it any wonder that dolls are STILL a favorite toy for young girls?

But dolls aren't JUST dolls these days! They can be educational and interactive too. Just take the VTech® Baby Amaze™ Learn to Talk & Read Baby Doll™ for example:

Watch your child's vocabulary grow with the Vtech Baby Amaze Learn to Talk & Read Baby, which encourages your child to teach the doll. The three included books feature more than 70 words, including the names of animals, foods and household objects, so your child can learn right along with the doll. A pacifier and bottle are included, so your child can nurture the doll, which responds to the accessories being held up to her mouth. Four buttons on the doll engage even more interactive activities.

Product Highlights

  • Doll will learn and repeat phrases and vocabulary words
  • Three included vocabulary books feature more than 70 words, including the names of animals, food and household objects
  • Baby will ask your child for her pacifier, bottle and more
  • Putting the bottle or pacifier to the doll's mouth and pressing the four buttons will activate interactive responses

I have said on many occasions that my Finley will make a great teacher one day. One of her favorite things to do (aside from playing with her dolls) is to tell us what everything is. If she's reading a book, she will point to a dog and ask, 'What's this?', await your answer and exclaim proudly, 'That's RIGHT, it's a DOG!' or will simply state 'Dog', wait for you to repeat and again proclaim 'Great job!' It may very well be the cutest thing I've ever seen. It's also why I knew that this would be the perfect doll for her! It combines two of her favorite things into one super fun, interactive toy! She already loves telling her babies what's what, and with the Baby Amaze, her dolls will actually respond! How fun is that?

But not only is SHE teaching the doll, but it will help her expand her own vocabulary as well. She is at an age where she is picking up new words left and right. We tend to spend a lot of time labeling objects in books, pictures and real life, which can be fun...but with Baby Amaze, it's a BLAST! And when your little has taught her everything and is ready to start again, there is a handy newborn button that allows her to do just that (don't us mommies often wish we could do this with OUR babies!?)

If you have a little one who loves dolls, loves pretending and loves books, Baby Amaze is going to be a must have on your holiday shopping list!! Learn more and connect with VTech at the links below:
