The Unmasking: New Album from Nichole Nordeman {A Review & Giveaway} #FlyBy

Do you have a theme song?

You know...a song that defines your life, how you live or how you want to live? A song that feels as though it could have been written by you?

Back when I was in high school, I discovered a song that was just that for me- Nichole Nordeman's Legacy:

I want to leave a legacy, how will they remember me?
Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough
To make a mark on things? I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who blessed your name
Unapologetically and leave that kind of legacy

It took hearing the song only one time for it to become and instant favorite, and after all these years its STILL a favorite. I have come to be a fan of Nichole Nordeman's other music as well, so naturally when I heard about her new album 'The Unmaking' I could not wait to get my hands on it!

About the new album The Unmaking:
"Before things in our lives can be resurrected and given new life, certain things must die.  Before beauty blooms in spring, roots must do the hard work under the hard frozen soil of winter.  Before you renovate and re-build, you tear down the parts of the structure that are weak or damaged or dangerous.  Before we make, we must unmake."  Nichole Nordeman

About Nichole Nordeman:
Nichole Nordeman is a recording artist and songwriter for Sparrow/EMI CMG, with numerous number-one and top ten singles to her credit and cumulative CD sales of over one million.  A two-time Gospel Music Association winner for Female Vocalist of the Year, she has won a total of nine Dove Awards, including the best-selling album, Music Inspired by The Story.  Her best-known songs include "Holy", "Legacy", "Brave", "This Mystery", "Why", and "What If".  She lives with her family in Tulsa, OK.

If you're already a Nichole Nordeman fan, you will not be disappointed! If you've not yet had the chance to experience her music, this will be a great introduction! These songs were every bit as wonderful as the hits I had fallen in love with over the years. In fact, the only real downfall is that are JUST six songs! But each of those songs is truly as beautiful as the next.

I loved the message of the title song, The Unmaking- to be broken down to be built back up. As a Plumb fan, I loved their collaboration on Not To Us. Love Your More was perfection...like I said, each song was as beautiful as the next. But perhaps my absolute favorite song on the album was the final song, Slow Down. They always say to save the best for last, and this album certainly did that! This song beautifully expresses the thought of every mother...wish for time to just slow down:

Slow down
Won't you stay here a minute more
I know you want to walk through the door
But it's all too fast
Let's make it last a little while
I pointed to the sky and now you wanna fly
I am your biggest fan
I hope you know that I am
But do you think you can somehow
Slow down

Yes, this is truly a song that all of us mothers will adore, but the entire album is great for mothers and non mothers alike. If you're a Christian music fan, this is certainly one to add to your collection!

  5. You must be exceptionally quiet in your look for a decent guitar course, in light of the fact that the greater part of the courses accessible these days are regularly deceptive and insufficient. http://djpunjabimp3.com/videos/ao-gidha-pa-liye-mashup-download/

  6. It takes cash to profit" might be the most genuine saying since "measure twice, cut once." But take a gander at that first articulation nearly. No place does it say whose cash it takes. On the off chance that you require capital for your business for new hardware, materials, or to try and out the spikes in your income, there are a few spots to get it other than your own particular wallet. https://www.usacheckcashingstore.com/san-diego
