It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought our sweet girl home from the hospital, and yet here we are on her first birthday! Where did the year go? We have been so incredibly blessed with such an amazing wonderful child!
As many of you may know, just one month before I became pregnant with Miss Fin, we suffered an early miscarriage. It was a pain I don't wish upon anyone. We were beyond lucky to have conceived again so quickly, and yet I recall a few instances in those late stages of pregnancy thinking I could have been done already...we could have a baby in our arms instead of in my belly. But it wouldn't have been THIS baby. While I still mourn for that loss, I have no doubts in my mind that Finley is the child God intended for us, and we do not take that for granted. She is truly the perfect addition to our little family and though she's only been here one year, we could not imagine our life without her.
It's been a big month for Miss Finley, and I will share more about her progress later, but for now I just want to say:
