A little late- but's it's been a busy week! Here's a little bit of what we've been up to lately!

(Oh, by the way, remember last time I did this linkup I mentioned that I had an old iPhone with a crappy camera? Well, literally just a day or two later we ended up switching phone services because I barely got signal in my own house- no good when you don't have a land line! So now I have a wonderful new iPhone and the camera is 100 times better...yay! Now, onto those pictures-in no particular order because I'm too tired to rearrange them! Ha!)



So proud of my little man- he wrote this all by himself. The lamp was drawn by daddy, but Pixar was ALL him! I was in complete shock when I saw this...typically, if he wants something written- or colored- or drawn- he demands someone else do it for him!

Yesterday (Thursday), I finally got around to spending some birthday money. Even for my birthday I like to get the most for the money so I went to Plato's Closet (seriously becoming addicted to that store!). Two sweaters (yes, they're the same!), leg warmers, 2 pairs of boots, a pair of flats and a necklace- all for $45. The taller boots- only about $12.50 after my military discount...I LOVE them!

Shaun decided to dress himself a week or so ago, and this was the result. Who needs to match when you look this cute!? (Of course what you don't see is that he also chose to go the no pants route as well!)

Today's drawing. This is the THX logo, and the little thing in the corner is a robot. Pretty great if you ask me! (Have I mentioned his love of production companies, etc? He's hilarious!)

My shopping trip from this week! It seems like I haven't been able to find as many great deals lately as I had in the past, so I was super excited with the awesome savings this time around!!

I wish I could have gotten a picture of the look on Shaun's face when he discovered Grandpa had one...he was ecstatic! It was like Christmas!

This was tonight. Shaun decided it was time to lay down and sleep, so how do you put a potato head to sleep? Well, you just take his eyes of course!

This was from a few weeks back, but I don't believe I mentioned it. As some of you may know, I do not eat meat and haven't since I was 13, twelve years ago...but I'm really not a great vegetarian because up until a few weeks ago I had NEVER had tofu. To be honest, I was scared of it. But I decided to give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely an odd texture, but it was pretty good. I won't be attempting to make my own anytime soon, but if we head back to PF Changs I could definitely see myself ordering again!

This is the necklace I mentioned earlier that I got on my birthday shopping trip (and my new phone too!). I LOVE it. I love bright colors, and particularly this green. So fun!
